1. What is ARKOCAPSULES RUSCO and what it is used for

Traditional herbal medicinal product used to relieve symptoms of discomfort and heavy legs related to minor venous circulation disorders and for the relief of symptoms of itching and burning related to hemorrhoids, based exclusively on its traditional use.

2. Before taking Arkocapsules Rusco

Do not take ARKOCAPSULAS RUSCO

If you are allergic to the active ingredient or to any of the other components of ARKOCAPSULAS RUSCO.

Be careful with ARKOCAPSULAS RUSCO

If you have skin inflammation or subcutaneous induration, ulcers, leg swelling, renal or cardiac insufficiency, diarrhea, or if you notice the presence of blood in your stool, you should consult your pharmacist or doctor.

If diarrhea occurs during treatment, you should interrupt it and consult your doctor.

Use of other medications

Inform your pharmacist or doctor if you are using or have recently used other medications, including those obtained without a prescription.

Taking ARKOCAPSULAS RUSCO with food and drinks

Food and drinks do not influence the effect of the medication.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant or breastfeeding women, so its administration is not recommended.

IMPORTANT FOR WOMEN

If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant, consult your doctor before taking this medication. The consumption of medications during pregnancy can be dangerous for the embryo or fetus and should be monitored by your doctor.

Driving and using machines

No effects on the ability to drive and use machines have been reported.

3. How to take Arkocapsulas Rusco

Follow these instructions unless your doctor has given you different instructions.

Consult your pharmacist or doctor if you have doubts.

The normal dose is:

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: take 1 capsule at breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a glass of water.

This medication is used orally.

Use for a period of 2 weeks, as needed.

If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 2 weeks of treatment, you should consult your pharmacist or doctor.

Use in children

Do not use in children under 12 years without consulting your pharmacist or doctor.

If you take more ARKOCAPSULAS RUSCO than you should

No cases of overdose with ARKOCAPSULAS RUSCO have been reported.

In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, consult your pharmacist or doctor immediately or call the Toxicology Information Service, phone 91 562 04 20, indicating the product and the amount ingested.

If you forget to take ARKOCAPSULAS RUSCO

In case of forgetting a dose, take the medication as soon as possible, continuing the treatment as prescribed. However, if the next dose is near, it is better not to take the forgotten dose and wait for the next one. In no case should you take a double dose to compensate for the forgotten dose.

4. Possible side effects

Like all medications, ARKOCAPSULAS RUSCO can cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them.

Some cases of nausea, gastrointestinal discomfort, diarrhea, or lymphocytic colitis have been occasionally reported, although the frequency is unknown.

If you consider that any of the side effects you are experiencing is serious or if you notice any side effect not mentioned in this leaflet, inform your pharmacist or doctor.

5. Storage of Arkocapsulas Rusco

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Do not store at a temperature above 30°C.

Expiry date

Do not use ARKOCAPSULAS RUSCO after the expiry date stated on the packaging, after the abbreviation "CAD". The expiry date is the last day of the month indicated.

Medications should not be disposed of through wastewater or household waste. Deposit the packaging and medications you no longer need at the SIGRE point in your pharmacy. If in doubt, ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the packaging and medications you no longer need. This will help protect the environment.

Composition of ARKOCAPSULES RUSCO

Each capsule contains as an active ingredient: 350 mg of cryomilled rhizomes of Ruscus aculeatusL. (Rusco).

The other components are the excipients: hypromellose (capsule coating), colloidal hydrated silica, and magnesium stearate.
