1. What is Arkocapsulas Hamamelis and what is it used for

Traditional herbal medicinal product for the relief of symptoms associated with mild venous circulation disorders such as discomfort and heaviness in the legs and for the symptomatic treatment of hemorrhoids, based exclusively on its traditional use.

2. Before taking Arkocapsulas Hamamelis

Do not take ARKOCAPSULAS HAMAMELIS

If you are under 18 years old.

If you are allergic to the active ingredient or to any of the other components of ARKOCAPSULAS HAMAMELIS.

Use of other medications

Inform your pharmacist or doctor if you are using or have recently used other medications, including those obtained without a prescription.

Taking ARKOCAPSULAS HAMAMELIS with food and drinks

Food and drinks do not have an influence on the effect of the medication.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:

There is no adequate clinical information for the safe use of the medication in pregnant or breastfeeding women, so its administration is not recommended in these circumstances.

IMPORTANT FOR WOMEN

If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant, consult your doctor before taking this medication. The consumption of medications during pregnancy can be hazardous to the embryo or fetus and should be monitored by your doctor.

Driving and using machines

No effect on the ability to drive and use machines has been reported.

3. How to take Arkocapsulas Hamamelis

Follow these instructions unless your doctor has given you different instructions.

Consult your pharmacist or doctor if you have doubts.

The normal dose is:

Adults: take 2 capsules at breakfast and 2 capsules at dinner with a glass of water. If necessary, the dose can be increased to 3 capsules per intake.

This medication is used orally.

Use for a period of 2 weeks, as needed.

If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 2 weeks of treatment, you should consult your pharmacist or doctor.

Use in children:

Do not use in children under 18 years old without consulting your pharmacist or doctor.

If you take more ARKOCAPSULAS HAMAMELIS than you should

No cases of overdose with ARKOCAPSULAS HAMAMELIS have been described.

In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, consult your pharmacist or doctor immediately or call the Toxicology Information Service, phone 91 562 04 20, indicating the product and the amount ingested.

If you forget to take ARKOCAPSULAS HAMAMELIS

In case of forgetting a dose, take the medication as soon as possible, continuing the treatment as prescribed. However, if the next dose is near, it is better not to take the forgotten dose and wait for the next one. In no case should you take a double dose to compensate for the forgotten dose.

4. Possible side effects

Like all medications, ARKOCAPSULAS HAMAMELIS can cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them.

No side effects have been described at the recommended doses.

5. Storage of Arkocapsulas Hamamelis

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Do not store at a temperature above 25°C.

Expiry date:

Do not use ARKOCAPSULAS HAMAMELIS after the expiry date stated on the packaging, after the abbreviation “EXP”. The expiry date is the last day of the month indicated.

Medications should not be disposed of through wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the packaging and medications you no longer need. This will help protect the environment.

Composition of ARKOCAPSULAS HAMAMELIS:

Each capsule contains as an active ingredient: 290 mg of cryomilled leaves of Hamamelis virginianaL. (Hamamelis).

The other components are the excipients: hypromellose (capsule coating).
