Compound Tormentil Ointment is a multi-component medicine. The medicine has astringent, anti-inflammatory, drying, and mildly antiseptic effects.
The medicine is used for minor skin damage, skin abrasions, and scratches.
Before starting to use Compound Tormentil Ointment, the patient should discuss it with their doctor, pharmacist, or nurse.
If symptoms worsen or do not improve despite using the medicine, treatment should be discontinued and the doctor consulted.
During use of the medicine, contact with the eyes should be avoided.
There is insufficient data on the use of Compound Tormentil Ointment in children. It is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age.
The patient should inform their doctor or pharmacist about all medicines they are currently taking or have recently taken, as well as any medicines they plan to take.
The medicine should not be used with other topical medicines.
If the patient is pregnant or breastfeeding, thinks they may be pregnant, or plans to have a child, they should consult their doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
The medicine does not affect the ability to drive or operate machinery.
The medicine may cause local skin reactions (e.g., contact dermatitis).
The medicine is intended for topical use on the skin.

Local skin irritation may occasionally occur. In this case, the use of the medicine should be discontinued. If any side effect occurs, the patient should consult their doctor.

100 g of ointment contains active substances: liquid extract of tormentil root 3 g, ammonium sulfobituminate 2 g, zinc oxide 20 g.
Other ingredients are: yellow petrolatum, lanolin.
The medicine is a light brown, homogeneous ointment with a characteristic odor.
Packaging: aluminum tube containing 20 g or 40 g of ointment in a cardboard box with a patient information leaflet.
