1. Qué es FLAVINIA y para qué se utiliza

FLAVINIA es un medicamento que actúa aliviando los sofocos asociados a la menopausia.

Como consecuencia de la reducción del número e intensidad de los sofocos se obtiene una mejoría de otras molestias climatéricas, tales como insomnio y nerviosismo.

Debe consultar a su médico si empeora o no mejora después de 2 ó 3 meses de tratamiento.

2. Qué se necesita saber antes de tomar FLAVINIA

No tome FLAVINIA:

Si es alérgico (hipersensible) al Extracto de Glycine max(soja) o a alguno de los componentes de FLAVINIA.

Tenga especial cuidado conFLAVINIA:

Si se le ha diagnosticado un tumor hormono-dependiente, consulte a su médico antes de tomar este medicamento.

Si padece deficiencia previa en la absorción de yodo ya que las isoflavonas pueden interferir en la absorción de la hormona tiroidea (T4 o tiroxina).

Advertencias y precauciones:

Si se le ha diagnosticado un tumor hormono-dependiente, consulte a su médico antes de tomar este medicamento.

Niños y adolescentes:

FLAVINIA es un medicamento que no está dirigido a niños y adolescentes.

Uso de FLAVINIA con otros medicamentos:

3. Cómo tomar FLAVINIA

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración de FLAVINIA indicadas en este prospecto o las indicadas por su médico, farmacéutico o enfermero. En caso de duda, pregunte a su médico, farmacéutico o enfermero.

FLAVINIA se administra por vía oral.

Adultos:

La dosis recomendada es de 1 comprimido al día. Tomar el comprimido con un vaso de agua.

Los efectos de FLAVINIA no son inmediatos, pueden comenzar a manifestarse a partir de las 2 primeras semanas, obteniéndose los mejores resultados a los 2-3 meses. A los 3 meses de iniciar el tratamiento, consulte a su médico para continuarlo.

5. Conservación de FLAVINIA

Mantener fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase, después de {CAD.}. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

FLAVINIA no requiere condiciones especiales de conservación.

Composición de FLAVINIA

  • El principio activo es el Extracto de Glycine max (soja). Cada comprimido recubierto contiene 200 mg de extracto de semillas de Glycine max con un contenido de 80 mg de isoflavonas totales.

Núcleo del comprimido:Destab (que contiene carbonato de calcio, laurilsulfato de sodio, acacia y agua), Celulosa microcristalina, Sílice coloidal hidratada,Carboximetil Almidón Sódico (tipo A) de patata,Estearato de magnesio.

Recubrimiento del comprimido: Opadry II morado que contiene poli alcohol vinilo, talco, dióxido de titanio (E-171), polietilienglicol (macrogol), lecitina de soja (E-322), colorantes*.

*Los colorantes son: Laca alumínica rojo allura (E-129), Óxido de hierro negro (E-172), Laca alumínica índigo carmín (E-132).
