1. Qué es Esberiven y para qué se utiliza

Esberiven pertenece al grupo de los medicamentos protectores de los capilares.

Está indicado en el a livio a corto plazo (durante dos-tres meses) del edema y síntomas relacionados con la insuficiencia venosa crónica, tales como: sensación de piernas pesadas, dolorosas e hinchadas.

2. Qué necesita saber antes de empezar a tomar Esberiven

No tome Esberiven

  • Si es alérgico a troxerutina o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6).

Esberiven 100 mg/ml solución oral contiene parahidroxibenzoato de metilo (E-218) y parahidroxibenzoato de propilo (E-216)

Puede producir reacciones alérgicas (posiblemente retardadas) y, excepcionalmente broncoespasmo (sensación repentina de ahogo) porque contiene parahidroxibenzoato de metilo (E-218) y parahidroxibenzoato de propilo (E-216).

3. Cómo tomar Esberiven

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración de este medicamento indicadas por su médico o farmacéutico. En caso de duda, consulte de nuevo a su médico o farmacéutico.

Este medicamento se administra por vía oral.

Adultos:

La dosis recomendada es de 10 mililitros al día, en una toma de 10 ml o en dos tomas de 5 ml.

Este medicamento puede tomarse mezclado con un poco de leche fría con o sin azúcar, zumo o refresco de frutas o agua azucarada.

Si toma más Esberiven del que debe

Pueden aparecer náuseas o vómitos y dolor de estómago. En caso de sobredosis o ingestión accidental consulte inmediatamente a su médico o farmacéutico o llame al Servicio de Información Toxicológica, teléfono 91 562 04 20, indicando el medicamento y la cantidad ingerida.

Si olvidó tomar Esberiven

No tome una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

5. Conservación de Esberiven

Mantener fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No se requieren condiciones especiales de conservación.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en la caja después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

6. Contenido del envase e información adicional

Composición de Esberiven100 mg/ml solución oral

  • El principio activo es troxerutina. Cada 10 ml de la solución oral contienen 1 g de troxerutina, como principio activo.
  • Los demás componentes son: propilenglicol, parahidroxibenzoato de metilo (E218), parahidroxibenzoato de propilo (E216), sorbato de potasio (E202), sacarina de sodio, aroma caramelo y agua purificada.

Aspecto del producto y contenido del envase

Esberivenes una solución oral, trasparente y de color amarillo intenso que se presenta en frasco de vidrio topacio, con tapón de polipropileno/polietileno de alta densidad (PP/HDPE) con cierre a prueba de niños (Child-Proof), que contiene 200 ml de solución acompañado de un vaso dosificador.
