1. Qué es Anticongestiva Cusí y para qué se utiliza

Pertenece al grupo de medicamentos emolientes y protectores que contienen zinc. Combina la acción protectora del óxido de zinc y del almidón; el primero absorbe la humedad y tiene un ligero efecto astringente (cicatrizante) y antiséptico (antiinfeccioso) moderado.

Anticongestiva Cusí está indicada para protección y alivio temporal de afecciones irritativas leves de la piel, como las siguientes:

Escoceduras, irritaciones y erosiones superficiales de la piel provocadas por: quemaduras leves o superficiales, eritema solar, intértrigo (inflamación de los pliegues de la piel).

Anticongestiva Cusí está indicada en adultos y niños.

2. Qué necesita saber antes de empezar a usar Anticongestiva Cusí

No use Anticongestiva Cusí

  • si es alérgico al óxido de zinc, al almidón de maíz, o a cualquiera de los demás componentes de este medicamento (incluidos en la sección 6).
  • si presenta infección en la zona a tratar.

Advertencias y precauciones

Consulte a su médico o farmacéutico antes de empezar a usar Anticongestiva Cusí.

  • Evitar el contacto del medicamento con los ojos, oídos y otras mucosas.
  • No se debe utilizar el producto durante tiempo prolongado o en áreas muy grandes de la piel.

Niños

Anticongestiva Cusí puede aplicarse en niños menores de 2 años.

Uso de Anticongestiva Cusí con otros medicamentos

Embarazo y lactancia

Conducción y uso de máquinas

Este preparado no afecta a la capacidad para conducir ni utilizar maquinaria.

Anticongestiva Cusícontiene lanolina.

Este medicamento puede producir reacciones locales en la piel (como dermatitis de contacto) porque contiene lanolina.

3. Cómo usar Anticongestiva Cusí

Siga exactamente las instrucciones de administración del medicamento contenidas en este prospecto o las indicadas por su médico. En caso de duda, pregunte a su médico o farmacéutico.

La dosis recomendada es:

  • Adultos y niños:

En general se aplicará una fina capa de pasta 1 ó 2 veces al día.

Uso cutáneo.

Perforar la boca del tubo, utilizando para ello el punzón que lleva incorporado el tapón en su parte superior.

Limpiar y secar bien la zona a tratar. Después aplicar la pasta directamente sobre la zona, cubriéndola con una gasa en aquellos casos que fuese necesario.

Si los síntomas no mejoran en 7 días o empeoran durante el tratamiento debe consultar al médico.

Si usa más Anticongestiva Cusídel que debiera

Debido a las características de este preparado, destinado a uso cutáneo, no son de esperar fenómenos de intoxicación con el uso del producto a las dosis recomendadas.

En caso de sobredosis o ingestión accidental, consulte inmediatamente a su médico o farmacéutico o llame al Servicio de Información Toxicológica, teléfono: 91 562 04 20, o acuda a un centro médico, indicando el medicamento y la cantidad ingerida.

Si olvidó usar Anticongestiva Cusí

No use una dosis doble para compensar las dosis olvidadas.

4. Posibles efectos adversos

Al igual que todos los medicamentos, Anticongestiva Cusí puede producir efectos adversos, aunque no todas las personas los sufran.

Podrían producirse los siguientes efectos adversos, con frecuencia no conocida exactamente:

Manifestaciones de tipo alérgico, irritación local, picor o escozor. En estos casos, se debe suspender el tratamiento y lavar la zona afectada con agua.

Podrían aparecer lesiones granulomatosas (inflamatorias).

Otros: sequedad de la piel y, con el uso prolongado, aumento de los restos de la lesión, con aumento de las molestias.

5. Conservación de Anticongestiva Cusí

Conservar por debajo e 25ºC.

Mantener este medicamento fuera de la vista y del alcance de los niños.

No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad que aparece en el envase después de CAD. La fecha de caducidad es el último día del mes que se indica.

Los medicamentos no se deben tirar por los desagües ni a la basura. Deposite los envases y los medicamentos que no necesita en el Punto SIGRE de la farmacia. En caso de duda pregunte a su farmacéutico cómo deshacerse de los envases y de los medicamentos que no necesita. De esta forma, ayudará a proteger el medio ambiente.

6. Contenido del envase e información adicional

Composición de Anticongestiva Cusí

  • Los principios activos son Óxido de zinc y Almidón de maíz. Cada gramo de pasta contiene

250 mg de óxido de zinc (25 %) y 250 mg de almidón de maíz (25 %).

  • Los demás componentes (excipientes) son lanolina (grasa de lana), vaselina filante y

vaselina líquida.
