How to use LACIDOFIL

INSTRUCTIONS for medical use of the POLYN tincture

Composition

The active substance: 1 vial contains tincture of bitter wormwood herb and leaves (1: 5) (Absinthii herba et folia) (extractant - ethanol 70%) - 25 ml.

Tincture.

Main physical and chemical properties

Brown-green liquid with a characteristic odor. During storage, sedimentation is possible.

Pharmacotherapeutic group

A plant-based remedy that increases appetite. Bitterness (amara).

Pharmacodynamics

Irritates the sensitive nerve endings of the taste receptors of the mucous membranes of the oral cavity, tongue, which reflexively causes an increase in gastric juice secretion, increased appetite, and improved digestion.

Indications

Hypacidic and anacidic gastritis, anorexia - as part of complex therapy.

Contraindications

Increased sensitivity to the components of the drug. Increased gastric secretion, peptic ulcer disease, cholelithiasis, reflux esophagitis, epilepsy. Pregnancy. Children under 12 years old. History of bleeding from the pelvic organs, anemia.

The drug is a common herbal remedy for use according to indications confirmed by long-term use.

The patient should consult a doctor if the symptoms of the disease do not disappear during the use of this drug, or if any side reactions are observed.

Do not use in women during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Ability to affect reaction speed when driving or operating machinery

Since the drug contains ethanol, it may affect the ability to drive vehicles or work with potentially hazardous machinery, so during treatment with this drug, one should refrain from working with potentially hazardous machinery.

Method of administration and dosage

Take orally 15-20 drops 3 times a day 15-30 minutes before meals. The duration of administration is determined by the doctor individually and depends on the severity of the disease, the nature of concomitant therapy, and the achieved effect.

Children

Should not be used in children under 12 years old. Children over 12 years old should use the drug as prescribed by a doctor.

Overdose

Taking in increased doses, especially prolonged, can lead to poisoning - the development of convulsions, hallucinations, loss of consciousness.

With prolonged use, atonic constipation is possible.

Treatment: symptomatic.

Side effects

Prolonged use of the wormwood tincture can cause so-called wormwood epilepsy, taking in increased doses, especially prolonged, can lead to poisoning - the development of convulsions, hallucinations, etc.

Nausea, vomiting, increased sensitivity reactions (including hyperemia, rash, itching).

Absinthe, which is contained in wormwood, with prolonged use, can cause atony of the intestines. If side reactions occur, the use of the drug should be stopped and a doctor should be consulted.

5 years.

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
