Zincas is a medicine containing zinc.
Zinc is a microelement. It regulates the production of growth hormone and sex hormones (it is necessary for the production of sperm and egg cells). It reduces the body's susceptibility to infections and allergies. It affects the proper secretion of insulin by the pancreas.
A zinc deficiency can cause: skin disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, nervous system disorders, immune system disorders, and bone disorders. A significant zinc deficiency can cause dwarfism and underdevelopment of the sex organs.
Taking a dose higher than recommended may cause diarrhea.
Do not take a higher dose than recommended.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medicines you are taking, or have recently taken, and about any medicines you plan to take.
Do not take Zincas at the same time as the following medicines:
Take the medicine after a meal, with a glass of water.
Do not take Zincas at the same time as dairy products (milk and its derivatives), as these products reduce zinc absorption.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or plan to have a child, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine. Zincas should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
The medicine does not affect the ability to drive and use machines.
Zincas contains sucrose. One tablet contains 30 mg of sucrose. If the patient has previously been diagnosed with intolerance to some sugars, they should consult their doctor before taking the medicine.
Zincas contains quinoline yellow, which may cause allergic reactions.
Zincas contains sodium. The medicine contains less than 1 mmol (23 mg) of sodium per maximum single dose (3 tablets), which means the medicine is considered "sodium-free".

Take the medicine orally, after a meal, with a glass of water.
Small children should not be given whole tablets. The tablet can be crushed, dissolved in a small amount of water, and given to the child to swallow.
If symptoms do not improve after 30 daysof using the medicine, consult your doctor.
If you take a higher dose than recommended, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Overdose symptoms may occur (listed in section 4).
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
When using the medicine as directed, no side effects have been observed.
Higher doses of the medicine may cause side effects such as: nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, metallic taste in the mouth, headache.
Long-term use of Zincas may cause copper deficiency and anemia.
If you experience any side effects, including any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet, inform your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse. Keep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store in a temperature below 25°C.
Store in the original packaging to protect from light and moisture.
Do not use Zincas after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
The expiry date refers to the last day of the given month.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer needed. This will help protect the environment.

Zincas is a yellow, round, flat tablet on both sides.
