Zincas Forte is a medicine containing zinc.
Zincis a microelement. It regulates the production of growth hormone and sex hormones (it is necessary for the production of sperm and egg cells). It reduces the body's susceptibility to infections and allergies. It affects the proper secretion of insulin by the pancreas.
A zinc deficiency can cause: skin disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, nervous system disorders, immune system disorders, and bone system disorders. A significant zinc deficiency can cause dwarfism and underdevelopment of the sex organs.
A dose higher than recommended may cause diarrhea.
Zincas Forte should not be used in children under 15 years of age.
The patient should inform their doctor or pharmacist about all medicines they are currently taking or have recently taken, as well as any medicines they plan to take.
Zincas Forte should not be used at the same time as the following medicines:
The medicine should be taken after a meal, with a glass of water (see section 3).
Zincas Forte should not be taken at the same time as dairy products (milk and its derivatives). These products reduce zinc absorption.
If the patient is pregnant or breastfeeding, thinks they may be pregnant, or plans to have a child, they should consult their doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
Zincas Forte should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
There is no data on the harmful effects of Zincas Forte on the ability to drive and use machines.
Zincas Forte contains sucrose. One tablet contains 12.24 mg of sucrose. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes. If the patient has previously been diagnosed with intolerance to certain sugars, they should consult their doctor before taking the medicine.

Recommended dose:
1 tablet per day.
Zincas Forte should be taken orally, after a meal, with a glass of water.
If the symptoms do not improve after 30 days of using the medicine, the patient should contact their doctor.
In case of taking a higher dose of the medicine than recommended, the patient should consult their doctor or pharmacist.
Symptoms of Zincas Forte overdose (listed in section 4) may occur.
In case of missing a dose, the patient should take the medicine as soon as possible. They should not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
Like all medicines, Zincas Forte can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
When used as directed, no side effects have been observed.

If the patient experiences any side effects, including any possible side effects not listed in the leaflet, they should inform their doctor, pharmacist, or nurse. The medicine should be stored out of sight and reach of children.
Store in a temperature below 25°C.
Store in the original packaging to protect from light and moisture.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
The expiry date refers to the last day of the given month.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. The patient should ask their pharmacist how to dispose of medicines they no longer use. This will help protect the environment.
Zincas Forte is a white, round, flat tablet on both sides.
Available packaging: a container containing 50 tablets in a cardboard box.
