Rennie Antacidum may affect the rate and extent of absorption of other medicines. Therefore,
all medicines, especially those listed below, should be taken 1 or 2 hours before or after
taking Rennie Antacidum:
The medicine should be taken after a meal. The medicine should not be taken with large amounts of milk or
dairy products.
If the patient is pregnant or breastfeeding, thinks they may be pregnant, or plans to have a child, they should consult their doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Rennie Antacidum can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. However, the recommended doses should be strictly followed and the medicine should be used as indicated. The medicine should not be used for more than 2 weeks.
There is no effect.
One tablet contains 475 mg of sucrose. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes.
If the patient has previously been diagnosed with intolerance to some sugars, they should consult their doctor before taking the medicine.

Recommended dose
Adults and children over 12 years old:
1 to 2 tablets at a time, 1 hour after a meal and before bedtime.
No more than 11 tablets should be taken per day.

Rennie Antacidum should not be used in children under 12 years old.
In case of overdose, the medicine should be discontinued and plenty of fluids should be given to drink.

Long-term use of high doses, especially in patients with impaired kidney function, may cause hypermagnesemia (elevated magnesium levels in the blood) or hypercalcemia (elevated calcium levels in the blood) and alkalosis (elevated levels of bases in the blood).
Symptoms of milk-alkali syndrome:

The other ingredients (excipients) are: sucrose, corn starch, potato starch, magnesium stearate, talc, light liquid paraffin, peppermint flavor (peppermint oil, maltodextrin, gum arabic, silicon dioxide), lemon flavor (flavoring substances - 100% lemon oil, maltodextrin, α-tocopherol).
The medicine is in the form of white, square tablets with the inscription: "Rennie". The tablets are packaged in blisters.
The pack contains 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, or 96 chewable tablets.
