Pelogel contains a thickened aqueous peat extract and peppermint oil in its composition. The gel is used as supplementary dental treatment after prior removal of dental tartar.
The biologically active components of peat, mainly humic acids (humic and fulvic acids), exhibit anti-inflammatory effects in diseases of the oral mucosa and periodontal tissues. Additionally, these acids have a tightening effect on the mucous membrane.
The application of gum massage combined with rubbing in the peat extract improves microcirculation in pathologically altered tissues, which facilitates the absorption of effusions and infiltrates in inflammatory foci.

Before starting to use Pelogel, it is necessary to discuss it with a dentist or pharmacist. It is also recommended to remove dental tartar.
If there is no improvement after 10-15 days or the patient feels worse, they should consult a doctor.
There is no data on the safety of using the medicine in this age group. Therefore, it is not recommended to use the medicine in children.
The patient should inform their doctor or pharmacist about all medicines they are currently taking or have recently taken, as well as any medicines they plan to take.
If the patient is pregnant or breastfeeding, thinks they may be pregnant, or plans to have a child, they should consult their doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
Pelogel does not affect the ability to drive or operate machines.
This medicine should always be used exactly as described in the patient leaflet, or
according to the doctor's or pharmacist's instructions. In case of doubts, the patient should consult their doctor or pharmacist.
Adults: the single dose is approximately 2.5g (1/2 teaspoon). Using a soft toothbrush or fingertip, massage the gums with the gel for about 1 minute (2-3 times a day).
After applying the preparation, the patient should not eat or drink for about 1/2 hour. The treatment should be used for about 2-3 weeks.
There are no known symptoms of overdose.
The patient should use the next dose of the gel, and not use a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
No side effects or exacerbations of disease symptoms have been reported. If any side effects occur, the patient should stop using the medicine and inform their doctor.
