Momester Nasal contains mometasone furoate, which belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids, which, when used daily, reduce inflammation. Momester Nasal, when administered intranasally, relieves symptoms of inflammation (swelling and irritation of the nasal mucosa), sneezing, itching, feeling of a blocked nose, and reduces the amount of nasal discharge. Additionally, Momester Nasal relieves itching and tearing of the eyes.

Hay fever, which occurs at certain times of the year, is an allergic reaction caused by inhaling pollen from trees, grasses, weeds, as well as mold and fungus spores.
