Dimeticone

Esputicon contains the active substance dimeticone, which is a low surface tension compound that changes the surface tension of gas bubbles in the digestive tract. It causes larger gas bubbles to break down into smaller ones, which are more easily absorbed. When taken orally, it relieves bloating and removes excess gas from the digestive tract. Oral administration.
Usual dose: adults 4 times a day, 2 drops after meals and before bedtime; if necessary, 3 times a day, 5 drops.
Preparation for X-ray or ultrasound examinations
Two days before the examination, 4 times a day, 2 drops; on the day of the examination, 5 drops on an empty stomach.
Children
Infants and young children from 1 month: for bloating, 1 to 2 drops, 2 times a day.
The medicine can be administered dropped onto sugar, into juice, or into another liquid.
It is odorless and tasteless, and can be added to the child's food.
Esputicon does not contain sugar, so it can be used by diabetic patients.
Before use, the bottle should be shaken vigorously several times
There is no risk of overdosing with Esputicon.
A double dose should not be used to make up for a missed dose.

No side effects have been found to occur with Esputicon.

The medicine should be stored out of sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.

Esputicon is a colorless oily liquid, packaged in a plastic bottle (LDPE), with a dropper (LDPE), a cap (HDPE), and a cardboard box.
