Calcii dobesilas monohydricum
The active substance of the medicine is calcium dobesilate monohydrate, which improves venous circulation and has a protective effect on blood vessels. It reduces the permeability of their walls and excessive blood and plasma viscosity.
Clinical symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency of the lower limbs: pain, cramps, paresthesia (numbness, tingling), swelling, skin changes due to blood stasis. Non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy (damage to the blood vessels of the retina in diabetes).
Before taking Calcium Dobesilate Hasco, discuss it with your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse. You should be careful when taking the medicine if you have stomach or duodenal ulcer disease, or kidney failure.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medicines you are taking, or have recently taken, and any you plan to take.
Take the medicine after meals to avoid or reduce gastrointestinal side effects.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or plan to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. PregnancyDo not take the medicine during the first trimester of pregnancy. The medicine may be taken during pregnancy only if the doctor considers that the benefits to the mother outweigh the potential risks to the fetus. BreastfeedingDo not take the medicine while breastfeeding.
The medicine does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.
If you have been told you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking the medicine.
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist. AdultsThe dose will be determined individually, depending on the severity of the disease. Treatment may last from several weeks to several months, depending on the indications. Take the medicine after meals. Venous insufficiency: 500 mg to 1000 mg (1 to 2 tablets) per day. Non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy: 1000 mg to 1500 mg (2 to 3 tablets) per day. The medicine is taken orally.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or pharmacist. There are no known symptoms of overdose.
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. If you have any further questions on the use of this product, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. The listed side effects usually disappear on their own after stopping treatment. Rare (affecting 1 to 10 in 10,000 patients):nausea, diarrhea, skin reactions, joint pain. Very rare (affecting less than 1 in 10,000 patients):agranulocytosis - an acute condition that may manifest as high fever, infections in the mouth, sore throat, inflammatory changes in the anus and genital area.

Store in the original package, at a temperature below 25°C. Keep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the packaging. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month stated. Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. This will help protect the environment.
Uncoated tablets, oval, biconvex, smooth, uniform, white, and odorless. One pack contains 2 blisters of 15 tablets, placed in a cardboard box.
