1. What is InhalVicks and what is it used for

InhalVicks is anasal decongestant.Indicated in adults and children over 6 years of age for the relief of nasal congestion associated with allergic and infectious disorders of the upper respiratory tract.

Consult a doctor if it worsens or does not improve after 7 days.

2. What you need to know before using InhalVicks

Do not use InhalVicks

  • if you are allergic to the active ingredients or to any of the other components of this medication (listed in section 6),
  • in children under 6 years old.

Warnings and precautions

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before starting to use InhalVicks.

Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days.

To prevent contamination, avoid having others use the same container.

Avoid contact with the eyes.

Other medications and InhalVicks

Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are using, have used recently or may need to use any other medication.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medication.

InhalVicks is contraindicated during pregnancy.

Driving and operating machinery

InhalVicks does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or operate machinery.

3. How to use InhalVicks

Follow exactly the medication administration instructions contained in this leaflet or those indicated by your doctor or pharmacist. In case of doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

The recommended dose is:

Adults and children over 6 years of age:

1 or 2 inhalations in each nasal passage. Repeat every 1-2 hours if necessary.

For nasal use. Unscrew the cap. Insert into the nasal opening while keeping the other opening blocked.Breathedeeply.

Use in children

InhalVicks is contraindicated in children under 6 years of age.

If you use more InhalVicks than you should

If you use too much of this medication, consult your doctor immediately or contact the nearest hospital's emergency service.

In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, go immediately to a medical center or call the Toxicological Information Service (phone 91 562 04 20), indicating the medication and the amount ingested. Bring this leaflet to the hospital or doctor.

In case of accidental ingestion of InhalVicks in children, consult your doctor immediately to

provide the necessary treatment. Do not attempt to induce vomiting.

If you forgot to use InhalVicks

Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed ones.

If you interrupt treatment with InhalVicks

If you have any other doubts about the use of this medication, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

4. Possible Adverse Effects

Like all medications, this medication may produce adverse effects, although not all people may experience them.

During the period of use of InhalVicks, the following adverse effects have been observed, whose frequency has not been established with precision.

Very rarely, there have been reports of nasal discomfort.

If you consider that any of the adverse effects you are experiencing are severe or if you notice any adverse effect not mentioned in this prospectus, inform your doctor or pharmacist.

If you experience any type of adverse effect, consult your doctor or pharmacist, even if it is a possible adverse effect not listed in this prospectus. You can also report them directly through theSpanish System for Pharmacovigilance of Medicinal Products for Human Use: https://www.notificaram.es.By reporting adverse effects, you can contribute to providing more information about the safety of this medication.

5. Conservation of InhalVicks

No special conservation conditions are required.

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use this medication after the expiration date that appears on the packaging after CAD. The expiration date is the last day of the month indicated.

Medicines should not be disposed of through drains or in the trash.Deposit the packaging and medicines you no longer need at the SIGRE collection pointof the pharmacy. In case of doubt,ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the packaging and medicines you no longer need. By doing so, you will help protect the environment.

Composition of InhalVicks

The active principles per 1 ml of medicinal solution are:396.7 mg of camphor and 396.7 mg of menthol.

The other components are:methyl salicylate, pine essential oil.

Appearance of the product and contents of the packaging

Nasal strip containing inside a cellulose felt impregnated with 1.0 ml of medicinal solution, contained in a plastic support with a screw cap.
