Tadamen MED contains the active substance tadalafil, which belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors.

It should be remembered that sexual activity carries a degree of risk in patients with heart disease, as it puts extra strain on the heart. If you have problems with your heart, you should tell your doctor.
Benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer can have the same symptoms, so your doctor will check for prostate cancer before starting treatment with tadalafil for benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Tadalafil is not used to treat prostate cancer.

If you experience sudden loss of vision or loss of vision, or blurred vision, you should stop taking Tadamen MED and contact your doctor immediately.

Tadamen MED is not intended for use by women.

You should tell your doctor about all medicines you are currently taking or have recently taken, and about any medicines you plan to take.
You must not take Tadamen MED if you are taking nitrates.
Tadamen MED may affect the way some medicines work, or some medicines may affect the way Tadamen MED works.
You should tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking:
Information on the effect of alcohol is given in section 3. Grapefruit juice may affect the efficacy of Tadamen MED, and therefore, caution should be exercised when consuming it. For more information, you should ask your doctor.
When tadalafil was given to dogs, a decrease in sperm production in the testes was observed.
A decrease in sperm concentration was observed in some men. It is unlikely to lead to infertility.
Some men taking tadalafil during clinical trials reported dizziness.
You should be aware of how you react to the medicine before driving or using machines.
If you have been told that you have an intolerance to some sugars, you should contact your doctor before taking the medicine.
The medicine contains less than 1 mmol (23 mg) of sodium per tablet, which is essentially "sodium-free".
This medicine should always be taken exactly as your doctor has told you.
If you are unsure, you should ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Tadamen MED tablets are for oral use only in men.
The tablets should be swallowed whole with a small amount of water. The tablets can be taken with or without food.
Drinking alcohol may cause a temporary drop in blood pressure. If you have taken Tadamen MED or plan to take it, you should not drink large amounts of alcohol (blood alcohol level of 0.08% or higher), as this may increase the risk of dizziness when standing up.
Recommended doseis one 5 mg tablet, taken once a day, at approximately the same time of day.
Your doctor may adjust the dose to 2.5 mg, depending on your response to Tadamen MED.
You should take one 2.5 mg tablet.
You should not take Tadamen MED more than once a day.
Taking Tadamen MED once a day allows you to get an erection in response to sexual stimulation at any time of day.
Taking Tadamen MED once a day may be beneficial for men who plan to have sexual activity twice a week or more often.
It is important to remember that Tadamen MED does not work without sexual stimulation.
You and your partner should engage in foreplay, just as you would if you were not taking erectile dysfunction medicines.
Drinking alcohol may affect your ability to get an erection.
Recommended doseis one 5 mg tablet, taken once a day, at approximately the same time of day.
If you have benign prostatic hyperplasia and erectile dysfunction, the dose of one 5 mg tablet, taken once a day, remains the same.
You should not take Tadamen MED more than once a day.
You should inform your doctor. Adverse reactions, as described in section 4, may occur.
Take the dose as soon as you remember, but do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet.
You should not take Tadamen MED more than once a day.

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
These effects are usually mild or moderate.

Heart attack and stroke have also been rarely reported in men taking tadalafil. Most of them had heart problems before taking this medicine.
Rarely, partial, transient, or permanent decrease in vision or loss of vision in one or both eyes has been reported.
In men taking tadalafil, several additional rare side effects have been reported, which were not observed during clinical trials. These include:
Dizziness was reported more frequently in men over 75 years old taking tadalafil. Diarrhoea was reported more frequently in men over 65 years old taking tadalafil.

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton after "EXP". The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
There are no special storage conditions for this medicine.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. This will help protect the environment.
Tadamen MED, 5 mg is a light yellow, round, biconvex film-coated tablet, with "M" engraved on one side and "TL" above "2" on the other side of the tablet.
Tadamen MED, 5 mg is available in blisters in packs containing 2, 4, 14, 28, 30, 56, or 98 tablets.
Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
