This medicine should always be used exactly as described in the patient leaflet or according to the doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
Proctomina is a medicine with astringent action, used to treat conditions such as: pain, itching, accompanying hemorrhoidal disease (hemorrhoids). The medicine alleviates inflammatory conditions and irritations of the anal mucosa.
If the patient is allergic to bismuth subsalicylate, zinc oxide, or tannin, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
Before starting to use Proctomina, you should discuss it with your doctor or pharmacist.
If rectal bleeding or significant worsening of painful symptoms occurs, you should consult a doctor.
A change in the color of the stool to black may occur due to the bismuth subsalicylate contained in the product.
In children and adolescents, the medicine may be used after consulting a doctor.
Proctomina may be used at the same time as medicines taken orally.
Using Proctomina may affect the absorption of other medicines used rectally. In case of doubt, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist.
If the patient is pregnant or breastfeeding, thinks she may be pregnant, or plans to have a child, she should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
The medicine does not affect driving or using machines.

Proctomina should be used rectally.
Adults: 1 suppository 1-2 times a day.
Before and after using the suppository, you should wash your hands. If symptoms worsen or do not improve, you should consult a doctor.
No cases of overdose have been reported.
You should not use a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
Like all medicines, Proctomina can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
During the use of the medicine, symptoms of hypersensitivity may occur, manifesting as irritation of the anal mucosa.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Store in a place out of sight and reach of children.
Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
