Oviderm is a skin-softening cream that contains a substance called propylene glycol
(25%). Propylene glycol has water-binding properties and also has a slight antimicrobial effect, acting on some bacteria and fungi.
Oviderm is used to treat dry skin.
Oviderm should not be used:
The risk of using Oviderm during pregnancy is not known.
To avoid accidental ingestion of propylene glycol by the child, during breastfeeding, do not apply Oviderm to the breasts or their surroundings.
It may cause local skin reactions (e.g., contact dermatitis).

Adults, children, and adolescents
The cream can be used as needed, several times a day, and should always be applied after
skin contact with water. The amount of cream to be applied should be sufficient to be absorbed by the skin without a sticky feeling.
When using it for the first time, press the pump several times quickly. The pump should be pressed until the cream is dispensed.
Like all medicines, Oviderm can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Common: may affect up to 1 in 10 people
If any side effects occur, including any possible side effects not listed in the leaflet, the doctor or pharmacist should be informed. Side effects can be reported directly to the Department of Monitoring of Adverse Reactions to Medicinal Products of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices, and Biocidal Products;

The medicine should be stored out of sight and reach of children.
There are no special precautions for storage of the medicinal product.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the tube and carton or container after: EXP. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste containers. A pharmacist should be asked how to dispose of medicines that are no longer needed. This will help protect the environment.
Oviderm is a white, odorless cream. It is available in a plastic tube (100 g) with a flip-top cap in a cardboard box or a plastic container with a pump (500 g) or a double pack of 600 g containing a plastic container with a pump containing 500 g of cream and a plastic tube containing 100 g of cream, closed with a white flip-top cap.
