NEO-TORMENTIL, ointment

zinc oxide ( Zinci oxidum), ichthammol ( Ichtammolum), borax ( Borax), tormentil root tincture ( Tormentillae tinctura)

1. What is N-T and what is it used for

N-T is a medicine with a combined astringent and anti-inflammatory effect. It acts
drying on the skin, accelerates granulation and wound healing.
It is used to treat difficult-to-heal small cuts and minor wounds.

2. Important information before using N-T

When not to use N-T

if the patient is allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6) or to boric acid;
in newborns and infants with damaged skin;
on extensive wounds and cuts.

Tell your doctor about all medicines you are taking or have recently taken, as well as any medicines you plan to use.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and fertility

In pregnancy, during breastfeeding, or if you suspect you are pregnant, or if you plan to become pregnant, consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.

Driving and using machines

N-T has no effect on the ability to drive or operate machines.
N-T contains lanolin.Lanolin may cause local skin reactions (e.g.,
contact dermatitis).

3. How to use N-T

Externally on the skin. Affected areas are covered with a thin layer of ointment several times
a day.

Missing a dose of N-T

Do not use a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

Stopping use of N-T

If you have any further doubts about using this medicine, consult a doctor or pharmacist.

4. Possible side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
In infants and young children, as well as with prolonged use on large areas of damaged skin, borax may be absorbed and cause side effects: loss of appetite,
gastrointestinal disorders (vomiting, diarrhea), weakness, menstrual disorders,
anemia, disorientation, convulsions. The frequency of these side effects is unknown.

5. How to store N-T

Store at a temperature below 25 ° C.
Store the tube tightly closed.
The medicine should be stored out of sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the packaging.

What N-T contains

The active substances of the medicine are zinc oxide, ichthammol, borax, tormentil root tincture
Other ingredients are: anhydrous lanolin, yellow petroleum jelly, ethyl vanillin.
