Procedure in case of overdose
In case of acute overdose, the possibility of poisoning with several medicines should be considered.
Since amisulpride can only be dialyzed in small amounts, hemodialysis is not suitable for eliminating amisulpride.
There is no specific antidote for amisulpride.
In case of overdose, standard precautions should be taken: continuous monitoring of vital functions and ECG (risk of QT interval prolongation) until the patient recovers.
If pronounced extrapyramidal disorders occur, anticholinergic drugs should be administered.
