This medicinal product is available without a prescription. However, to achieve the best treatment results, the medicinal product
Lagosa should be used cautiously.

1. WHAT IS LAGOSA AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR

Lagosa is a medicinal product that protects the liver from the effects of toxic compounds, stimulates its regenerative ability, prevents the penetration of hepatotoxic factors into liver cells, stabilizes and normalizes liver cell functions.
Indications for use:
Conditions after liver damage caused by toxic compounds; as a supportive treatment in chronic inflammatory liver conditions.

2. IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE USING LAGOSA

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active or excipient substances contained in the product.
Use in children:
Due to the lack of safety data, use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended.
The medicinal product contains lactose and sucrose; if the patient has previously been diagnosed with intolerance to certain sugars, they should consult a doctor before taking the medicinal product.

Use of other medicinal products

No interactions with other medicinal products have been found.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Due to the lack of safety data, use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.

3. HOW TO USE LAGOSA

Adults and children over 12 years: one coated tablet twice a day.
Tablets should be taken with a sufficient amount of liquid.

Use of a higher than recommended dose of Lagosa:

No cases of poisoning have been reported.
No antidote is known in case of overdose. Symptomatic treatment should be initiated.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Like all medicinal products, Lagosa can cause side effects, although they may not occur in every patient.
In case of side effects, use of the medicinal product should be stopped and medical advice sought.
Occasional mild laxative effect may occur.

If any side effects occur, including those not listed in the leaflet, the doctor, pharmacist, or nurse should be informed. 5. HOW TO STORE LAGOSA

The medicinal product should be stored out of the reach and sight of children.
The medicinal product should not be used after the expiry date stated on the packaging. The expiry date refers to the last day of the given month.
No special precautions for storage are necessary.
Medicinal products should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. The pharmacist should be consulted on how to dispose of unused medicinal products. This will help protect the environment.

What Lagosa contains

The active substance is 240.0 mg of dry extract of milk thistle (Frukt. Cardui mariae) equivalent to 150 mg of silymarin calculated as silybin.
Excipients:Does not contain gluten.
Contains lactose and sucrose (see section 2).
The medicinal product is considered "sodium-free".

What Lagosa looks like and what the pack contains

Round coated tablets.
Aluminium/PVC/PVDC foil blisters packaged in a cardboard box.
Packaging contains 25, 50, 100 coated tablets.
Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
