It is not known whether Histigen affects the fetus.
It is unlikely that Histigen will affect your ability to drive or use machines. Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Your doctor may adjust the dose of Histigen depending on your condition.
The recommended initial dose is 24 mg (one tablet), twice a day (48 mg per day).
Your doctor may reduce the dose to 12 mg (half a tablet) twice a day (24 mg per day).
If you are taking more than one tablet per day, spread the doses evenly throughout the day, e.g., take one tablet in the morning and one in the evening.
Try to take the tablets at the same time each day. This will ensure a steady amount of medicine in your body.
Continue taking the medicine. It may take some time for the medicine to start working.
