Table of contents of the leaflet:

  • 1. What is DIP HOT WARMING and what is it used for
  • 2. Important information before using DIP HOT WARMING
  • 3. How to use DIP HOT WARMING
  • 4. Possible side effects
  • 5. How to store DIP HOT WARMING
  • 6. Contents of the packaging and other information

1. What is DIP HOT WARMING and what is it used for

DIP HOT WARMING is a medicine with a combined effect of four active substances:
methyl salicylate, menthol, eucalyptus oil, and turpentine oil
This is a cream with a local warming effect. The methyl salicylate contained in the medicine
also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Rubbing the medicine into painful areas causes
the blood vessels to dilate, improving circulation and creating a warming sensation. As a result, muscle and joint pain subsides or decreases.
Dip Hot Warming is used symptomatically:

  • for muscle pain
  • for joint pain
  • for rheumatic pain
  • for bruises and joint sprains
  • for sciatica
  • for athletes after training
  • as an auxiliary treatment for gout

2. Important information before using DIP HOT WARMING

Before use, you should test the medicine on a small area of skin to minimize the risk of an allergic reaction.

When not to use DIP HOT WARMING

You should not use the medicine:

  • in people allergic to salicylates and menthol.
  • on damaged skin.
  • in children under 12 years of age.

Warnings and precautions:

  • Stop using the medicine if persistent skin redness occurs at the application site.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and other sensitive skin areas. If the medicine comes into contact with the eyes, they should be rinsed immediately with a large amount of water, and a doctor should be consulted. The medicine contains lanolin, cetearyl alcohol, and may contain BHT (a stabilizer used in the production of turpentine oil). These ingredients can cause local skin reactions (e.g., contact dermatitis) or eye and mucous membrane irritation. The medicine contains 1 g of propylene glycol in every 100 g of cream, which corresponds to 10 mg/g. Propylene glycol can cause skin irritation. Due to the presence of propylene glycol, the medicine should not be used on open wounds or large areas of damaged or injured skin (e.g., burned skin) without consulting a doctor or pharmacist. In patients with asthma, a reflex bronchospasm may occur, so before using the preparation, they should make sure they are not allergic to its ingredients.

If the pain symptoms do not subside, you should consult a doctor.
Do not use a higher dose than the recommended dose.

Be particularly careful when using DIP HOT WARMING if:

  • the patient has asthma (as a reflex bronchospasm may occur).

For external use only.

Children and adolescents:

The medicine can only be used in children over 12 years of age.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and fertility

If the patient is pregnant or breastfeeding, thinks they may be pregnant, or plans to have a child, they should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.

Driving and using machines

The medicine does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

DIP HOT WARMING and other medicines

You should inform your doctor about all medicines you have taken recently, including those available without a prescription.
If you are taking oral medicines that reduce blood clotting, using this medicine may enhance their effect, so in this case, you should consult your doctor.

3. How to use DIP HOT WARMING

This medicine should always be used exactly as described in the patient leaflet, or as directed by a doctor, pharmacist, or nurse. If you are unsure, you should consult a doctor, pharmacist, or nurse.
DIP HOT WARMING is intended for external use only, on the skin.

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age:

  • 1. Gently rub the medicine into the painful areas until the cream is completely absorbed. Repeat 2-3 times a day.
  • 2. After use, tightly close the tube with the cream.
  • 3. Wash your hands thoroughly, unless they are the area where the medicine is applied.

If you feel that the effect of DIP HOT WARMING is too strong or too weak, you should consult a doctor.

4. Possible side effects

Like all medicines, DIP HOT WARMING can cause side effects. Rarely, persistent skin redness (erythema) or shortness of breath have been observed after using the preparation in sensitive individuals. In some patients, other side effects may occur during the use of DIP HOT WARMING, including burns at the application site.
If you experience any other side effects not mentioned in this leaflet, you should inform your doctor.

Reporting side effects

If you experience any side effects, including any side effects not listed in the leaflet, you should tell your doctor or pharmacist. Side effects can be reported directly to the Department of Monitoring of Adverse Reactions to Medicinal Products
