Recommended dose
Suck 1 tablet every 1-2 hours. Do not take more than 10 sucking tablets per day.
Do not chew the tablets.
Do not take the medication during meals.
If the symptoms worsen or do not improve after a few days of taking the medication, the patient should contact their doctor.
The medication should not be taken for a long period or in doses higher than recommended.
No cases of overdose have been reported so far.
Due to the dose of the medication and its minimal absorption, the occurrence of severe side effects as a result of an overdose is unlikely. However, study results indicate that chlorinated quinolines (including chlorquinaldol) may cause subacute optic neuropathy (a type of nervous system disorder) when taken in high doses and for a long time, characterized by sensory disturbances, muscle weakness, pain, and vision disturbances. Symptoms are often preceded by persistent diarrhea and abdominal pain, and a characteristic symptom is the green discoloration of urine and tongue.
If a dose is missed, it should be taken as soon as possible. However, if it is close to the time for the next dose, the missed dose should be skipped. A double dose should not be taken to make up for a missed dose.
In case of any further doubts about taking this medication, the patient should consult their doctor or pharmacist.

The frequency of the following side effects is unknown (cannot be determined from available data).
